The Bradley Advantage

The accelerated BSN degree is designed for people who have undergraduate degrees in other disciplines and want to try a new professional venture. Clinical experiences begin shortly after you start class, which means you’re practicing as you’re learning. With three major medical centers and a variety of other health agencies in the Peoria metro area, your clinicals expose you to emergency rooms, critical care, surgical settings, skilled care, mental health, community health, maternity care and other settings. Classes begin in May and end in August the following year.

Successful Outcomes

Because of the growing medical community in central Illinois, Bradley accelerated nursing graduates are quickly hired. In recent years, all graduates found employment within six months of graduation. They’re working at Duke University Medical Center, Loyola University Medical Center and UnityPoint Health in Peoria.

Bradley and Peoria share much in common--a diverse population, world-class research facilities, outstanding fine arts and entertainment, and a great sense of community. In this regard, Peoria simultaneously offers the urban benefits of a big city and the personality of a small town.
