Founder's Day

Each year, on Founder’s Day, we honor Lydia Moss Bradley, who made Bradley University possible through her vision, wisdom, generosity and leadership. This very special tradition also provides us with the opportunity to celebrate those who are continuing her vision – that of creating an institution that would teach ".... its students the means of living an independent, industrious and useful life by the aid of a practical knowledge of the useful arts and sciences." During the Convocation and Luncheon ceremonies, we recognize alumni, faculty and staff for their many achievements.
