Graduation applications for December 2017 are closed. Students can apply online for May 2018 graduation after December 16, 2017.
Students are required to be registered during the term in which they plan to graduate. Students who plan to graduate in December must be registered in the Fall semester. Students can register for either a zero hour of research or thesis or GRD699. Students who expect to complete degree requirements in the January Interim must register for the January Interim and register for GRD699 in the Spring semester. Contact the Graduate School for information on registering for GRD699.
Deadlines for graduating in December 2017:
Complete & submit thesis by December 2, 2017.
Comprehensive Assessment Results are due in the Graduate School by December 2, 2017.
The December 2017 Commencement will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017, in the Renaissance Coliseum. This will be a combined event with the undergraduates.

7:45 to 8:45 a.m.
Candidates assemble for processional in the basketball practice facility. Look for the Graduate School banner and line up behind the appropriate degree sign.
Doors open to the arena. Guests should leave the assembly area for seating in the arena at this time to be seated by 9:15 a.m. Open seating.
Approximate conclusion. Students will be led to the basketball practice facility and be released.
Graduates must check in with the Graduate School staff in the basketball practice facility to either return gowns and hoods or let us know you will be returning it to the Bradley bookstore. The Graduate School staff will be there for one hour after commencement ends. The bookstore will accept returns during their normal business hours starting on Monday, December 19th.

Ordering Commencement Regalia
All graduate students participating in Commencement must rent their academic regalia (gown and hood). The rental will include a cap and keepsake tassel which are yours to keep following graduation. You will not be able to use a cap, gown, or hood used by friends in other Commencements nor allowed to use regalia purchased from sources outside of Bradley University. Please remember the academic regalia is a rental and must be returned after commencement.
If you order by the deadline the cost is $73.98 for the Masters candidates plus a late fee. The Masters candidates' tassel is a keepsake tassel. You can order at the Bradley University Bookstore. The deadline to order your academic regalia is Friday, November 17, 2017. If you do not order your academic regalia by the deadline you will not be able to participate in the December 2017 Commencement.
If you are an August 2017 graduate and would like to participate in the December Commencement, you must send an email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name and campus ID number.

When you pick up your academic regalia you will receive important information about commencement.

If you would like to purchase any academic regalia to keep, you can place a special order with the Bradley Bookstore. Please contact them for the cost of purchasing any academic regalia. You may not keep the gown or hood you use at Commencement.
The Bradley Bookstore also has invitations, diploma frames, and many other graduation accessories available. Stop by to see their selection. They will also be present at the Graduation Fair.
Application for Graduation (Includes Commencement Participation Information)
Students who will complete their course of study and wish to graduate must complete the Graduate Application for Graduation.
Students who will complete the required course of study for a certificate must complete the Application for Certificate Completion and submit it to the Graduate School. Students cannot apply for certificate completion online at this time.
Students who will complete the required courses for a concentration within their program must complete the Graduate Concentration Completion Form, obtain their Graduate Coordinator's signature, and submit the form to the Graduate School. Students cannot apply for concentration completion online at this time.
